Not sure if this is one for GD, but there is a computer fair in Bristol today which I'm thinking of going too.

I've never been before, so not sure what I'm expecting, but have some odds and sods which I'd like to pick up.

Am I likely to find any branded products similar to what OcUK sell?

Entrance is a few quid, but I'm after some bits to complete my Parvum build.

Cheap external DVD writer and some red BitFenix Spectra Pros.

In Wolverhampton and Birmingham a company called Northern Computer Markets now just called computer markets ran fares in both cities. TBH the fee at the door was £3 at either venue and the savings you could get in the fare were substantial.

Haggling is the key. You find vendors with boxes of mixed stuff with everything £1 each scrawled on the front with a sharpie to vendors proudly displaying £500 graphics cards and the like.

You get a better deal with cash than with card payments, you usually find some really good deals, play vendors off each other; "Mate I can get that £20 cheaper from him over there but I want other items as well, do me a deal". They generally will.

whilst they used to be good back in the day, they are no where near competitive enough in comparison to the web and ive generally found a lot of the stock is last gen

True, used to go every week years ago but now everything comes off the internet. Cheaper and the easier when you have next day delivery options.
