Hi,

Just about to buy tickets for me and the son for the British F1 GP.

Can't decide between Club Block 3 or Becketts Block 3 (both at £375 for whole weekend).

Any advice...never sat at these 2 stands before.

Cheers,

Dumb question...do they have an on-site FM radio broadcast commentary of the practice sessions, quali, race?

Last time I went (2012) we rented the Kangaroo TV devices which had all commentary, timings, camera feeds etc. I don't think they offer these anymore.

On race day what time do you have to get in to bag a decent spot when going GA?

I'm assuming that on Fri/Sat it's not too difficult to bag a decent spot.

Decided to go with grandstand tickets for Club...and make use of the roaming on Fri/Sat to check out other prime viewing spots.

Next decision is where to camp for the weekend. The lad has turned 18 so we can now make proper use of bar facilities! Erring towards Silverstone Golf Club (which is pretty close to Club Corner)

2 x weekend tickets for Club grandstand just booked...camping at Woodlands.

Looking forward to it! Hopefully the Ferrari's will be v.close to the Merc's by then.
