For approx a week now this has been borked, not the hardware etc, their backend config/connectivity, utterly utterly incompetent.

I notice weirdy lights on my 'hub' they supply so I checked my cables n router etc were fine, observed for a few hours............then I call them...........and they have a recorded message telling me they have ongoing issue, NEVER TO CONTACT USERS BY EMAIL OR PHONE ETC , as I type this it is still ongoing, this morning I switched my heating on for an hour as I have someone waiting in for a delivery................... now I cant get back in to switch heating off as thier ssytem is down. £199 for this btw.

Utter **** then.:D

Look at one myself, wasn't impress with it, just a rebadge ?, the name eludes me, too early.:o

thermostat is a rebadged Danfoss, in this instance its not that or any hardware (tho the hardware has its own issues) that is the problem, its their backend config/connectivity.

Danfoss, that's it.:o

Connectivity shouldn't just be wireless, should also give you the option of a proper ethernet port.
I know several people who have them, & signal won't go through the thick walls their house have.

By connectivity I mean from their back end to the supplied 'hub', my connectivity is fine, as far as I can see their supplied hub gets an address in the 10.0.0.0 range, presumably a vpn to their backend logic, this is the part they cant get to work imho, its STILL playing up

It's usually the weekend it has problems.

Last weekend I had a variety of error messages, from can't connect, my hub is off-line, my thermostat needs new batteries ( it is four weeks since it was installed) and error connecting.

I think I sussed out it was probably not my end, when I logged on to the myHome web page and got a page with the message ( in a big bold font )

"It works!"

And in a smaller font ....

"Now need to add some content."

Underneath was some helpful comments about Debian and apache versions.

When it works, it is very good.

:D

lol yeah I got the random backend error etc too, I`ve mailed them moaning and asking for compensation, I do this EVERY time British Gas messes up, within the last year I have had £70 credit to my bill, well worth 2 mins of your time.
