British Xbox 360 and NTSCJ Games

Yeah thought not, wasnt sure if the NTSC was just TV compliant or if it was the hardware aswell, due to my Dell 2405fpw doesnt mind outputting anything.... even pizza.. well maybe not that far
 
I can recommend this retailer. I use them to ship my games from Hong Kong to Brunei. So far I have had no problems. The prices are truly enlightening, it says a lot for the markup in the UK when these guys can sell games at around 25 quid. I know that the Uk is an expensive country to do business in, but I'm fairly sure Hong Kong is too. Either MS or the retailers(online) are taking the NO SWEARING!! Big Kev in the Uk.

I have a suspicion it's MS. I would not be surprised if they are somehow allowing the games to be sold cheaper in Asia, so that they can attempt to crack Sonys grip on this region. I would like to add that I have no "facts" to back this up, it's purely a gut feeling. Anyway, you can prove anything with "facts"...........
 
Reason is Microsoft cant give the X360 away in Japan let alone expect them to cough up £50 a game!

So thats why they are cheap and yes they are taking the mickey with the pricing over here. PS3 games will be no cheaper though.

I brought Tomb Raider off them (no longer in stock anymore) as you can see in me sig for £26 and its 100% kosher english manual and english box the games all english as well.

Though its the NTSC version they sent me rather than the NTSC-J one but others have brought games off them and I think they're all ok.
 
You have to be careful exactly what you order when it comes getting the game in English. The japanese version games are real hit and miss, but are generally in Jap only. You want the Asian versions, these will have full game text and language in English, though the manual will be in English and Chinese. The Asian games they sell are actually from Singapore.

so pal, ntsc and ntscj all work on an english xbox360, all i have to make sure is about the language?

Check out the link JKLC gave above it tells you what language the game is in and what format it plays on,, I just ordered Gun, TRL and Farcry for £67 :) thats a bargain,, if I dont like the games I could probably sell them for more than that on ebay.,. BTW theres a guy on ebay selling the link to playasia and people are actually bidding on it,,lol,, they must be stupid all they need to do is search..

Burnout is not an ''all formats'' game,, it will not work on PAL systems,, the ones ticked green will work,,, eg Farcry Gun Amped etc :)
 
Bump this back up as i've seen Tomb Raider: Legends is back in stock on 360 (£23 delivered :D)

Brought it off them the last time it was in stock and its a quality game! i'm really enjoying it, best £23 you'll ever spend ;)

Current region free 360 games they got in stock (all £23 delivered) are Tomb Raider, Far Cry Instincts, Call of Duty 2, Blazing Angels, Gun, Quake 4 & Tony Hawk: American Wasteland.
