According to that story a poll was done and was found that the Britons were voted the most boring but also voted the worlds favourite nation:confused:...cant really see why though:p. Also the brits were voted the most educated and polite...again cant see why lol...educated yes...polite??...hmmm dunno about that tbh.

Switzerland was second and Canada was voted 3rd most favourite:D:D. Funnily enough the USA was in 10th place and the people were voted the most ignorant and ambitious and the french the most rudest...nothing new there then i see lol.
 
Don't really see what's boring, when you compare us with for example the Germans. I've always known we are the most polite and educated.
 
Yeh we are a bit boring we just sit inside drinking tea, reading the newspaper, talking about world affairs with our monacle's on a sunday....

I'm proud tbh :p :D

According to the report....More than 25,000 people from 35 countries rated "brand UK" as tops in a survey that considered individual nations' culture, people, and tourism potential
 
We have a two tier system. Somehow we've managed to cling onto the dignity and "stiff upper lip" mentality from our empire days but a fair chunk of our population have become what I will refer to communally as chavs.

I think we're still projecting the former image, but how long untill football hooligans and the like brand us as a nation of thugs.
 
Was one of the 35 countries Iraq by any chance ? - or where there any Muslim countries involved ?
Sounds like it was only countries with electricity that voted. ;)

Anyways we are the best.

I wouldn't worry too much, the Scots have been trying to get us such an image for hundreds of years, they've not succeeded so far :p

Seems like most people who participated in the poll just thought of the British stereotype, posh, polite, dull, etc. Same goes for how the Americans and French were seen.
