Might seem noob question but i dont use macs
Ok currently have vista laptop connected to broadband via an ethernet modem, and when connecting, it dials up using the broadband username/pass.
Have been given the task of connecting a MacBook to the net, when i plug in the ethernet modem, it says the ethernet connection is connected, has IP etc, but won't load any sites, and when i do the network test thing, seems to fail at the 'ISP' stage.
Im assuming its because i havent entered the name/pass anywhere...and i dont see any option to do it anywhere lol....help?
Thanks!
