Well, ive been wanting to move to Be , but my dad is moving away and keeps nagging me to look in to tiscalli as they offer , phone etc. As we pay out £40 on phone and internet.

Anyone have any recommendations?
 
Steer VERY clear of Tiscali. They are one of the worst ISPs available. Is the few pounds a month saved worth all the time, hassle and heartache of trying to deal with all the problems?

Be Lite with a phone line will cost you only £28 anyhow..cheaper than £40 by a long way.

Well, you'd have to get the phone line via BT but all Tiscali do is re-sell BT's service so there's no real point to it.

I wouldn't bother going BePro. Especially not initially. Get Unlimited or Value first and then upgrade after you're up and running and know how good your line is. There's no point paying extra for Unlimited/Pro if your phoneline is only able to cope with 8mbit.
 
Straight line distance isn't particularly important - I'd still go with the lower package first and then request an upgrade if it's worth it. It's just a flick of a switch so a quick phone call will sort you out in no time.

Not that you can get Be yet, according to the link to your exchange.
