Hi guys im using AOL with a Netgear DG834G router, its been fine for about 2 years, currently on 2mb.
I normally get a solid 220kbps download speed, the day before AOL's new terms and conditions came into place my speed dropped to 55kbps download. Then the next night the low speed, and then the night after 200kbps and since then its on and off between these two speeds.
Its really winding me up, all i download now really is XBox360 demos, maybe 2 or 3 a week.
Ive updated my router firmware but no fix. Is this likely to be a line problem or my ISP being rubbish?
Also does anyone know if i can cancel AOL and move on to another ISP? Was i supposed to do it before the clowns took over?
