Broadwell cpu still coming?

It is, but it's less of a Haswell desktop performance successor and aimed more at the integrated graphics market.

You will pay a premium for something that probably won't be of any use to you if you use a dedicated GPU.
 
It seems that way, us Z97 folks got to thinking we'd have something to upgrade to going forward but I don't think it would be worth it at all, especially considering the price.

Judging by how CPU performance is going 4690K/4790K should last for years and years anyway.
