Whoops!

Ran the Boot Camp Wizard thing on my MacBook earlier, didn't throw any errors but didn't really seem to get anywhere before kernel panicking. Now I've lost the space I decided to give Boot Camp (5gb) and various things like the disk verification part of disk utility are saying that my free space is being reported incorrectly (thanks, maybe try fixing it?). Anyway, how do I undo this damage and start again? Disk Utility only shows one partition, taking up 100% of the drive.

Booting from the install DVD fixes pretty much everything ;)

He isn't referring to doing a format.

Rather, by booting from the DVD you can use Disk Utility to perform destructive modification otherwise impossible from a normal boot (on the internal disc).

I would suggest resetting the PRAM if you're still unable to see the lost space, and then re-boot in to the install DVD.
