Broked parts question

So anyways i've now gotten a new psu since my last one blew on me and i've hooked it up and my build still won't turn on. Do you think it took out my mobo,ram & cpu? If thats the case will i be able to rma the parts? If so what would i say to the company.

What was the PSU that blew?

This may sound silly but are you positive you have got all the power cables plugged in properly? A lot of people often forget to plug in something like the 4pin one and panic

Also check to see if your power switch is connected to the mobo the right way round just to be sure.

Also are there any LEDs on the motherboard? If there are, are they lit?

Difficult to say really...maybe the PSU did take out the mobo. Try finding a spare somewhere to see if it really is the cause of your problem.

I dont have a spare mobo. Yes the minimum cables are plugged in. No leds.

I guess you could try buying a new mobo but there's always the chance its not the mobo and you will have just wasted money

I dont want to sound like a jerk the slightest little bit, but take it to someone who knows what they are doing. Otherwise its going to turn into a pile of scrap!
