The other day my pc crashed (froze, black screen looping sound) since then every time I try and turn my pc on the screen lights up with dvi power saving mode then the led flashes.

I stuck my old 4850 in and it works ok.

Has the 6950 blown up? Or is there A fix?

Edit: it seems the pc boots into windows fine but with no display.

Edit 2: the card is an asus 6950 directcu 2, when the pc is off it has a red led on the back of the pcb which goes off on start up.

No it's not showing anything on the screen at all but the pc boots fine is what I ment :)

I.e I turn the pc on, monitor flicks to DVI power saving mode but the pc boots fine as I can hear windows start up through the speakers.

I have not tried in another pc yet, but as I said it had been working fine for about 3 months, do you think a rail on the PSU could die?

It does but it does not have dual bios' it is for the DVI link output, I have tried both position 1&2 and the HDMI ports, same thin, the monitor comes out of standby with DVI power saving mode then goes black with flashing power led on the screen.

It's not a bios problem as have not tried to flash it.
