Does anyone know if this game is any good? I was a big fan of point and click adventure games like Monkey Island years ago, but I dunno about this one. I did just get a 25% coupon for it from Steam though...

Worth it? Or should I maybe just hold off for a steam sale?

All the reports I've seen are that it's excellent. But it's a Double Fine game, so you would expect it to be so.

Worth noting that you just get Act 1 currently - the second act will be released as a free DLC when it's complete

It's okay, there's nothing too challenging in it, certainly no use the fish on the plank type puzzles, and laughs are few and far between. The artwork is nice to look at and the whole package is well put together. If you've been a fan of Doublefine's work in the past then I think you'll enjoy it but, just don't expect Psychonauts/Grim Fandango levels of greatness.

As mentioned above, only half the game has been released so far so it, not sure when part 2 comes out but purchasing act 1 gets you access to act 2 when it's released.
