Broken Ai file, any ideas

Just had a system crash after saving an ai file, now it won't open (ai, ps, id)

I can view the file in Bridge, but not open it, any ideas?

If you go to the file properties can you restore a previous version? Sounds like parts of it may have got mangled.

Rename it eps and open in Acrobat?
