Ok so my brother, Firegod, changed his power supply this morning from this his broken Neopower 480watt to the OCZ 700watt power supply
All good
But me being annoying wanted to know why it had failed in the first place
The only fault I can find when I opened her up is what looks like a damaged fuse
This is not the fuse over the power in area but rather the opposite area of the PCB...
There is no continuity when tested with a multimeter and on the underside of the PCB the solder is tinged brown
Is this a fuse?
Any idea where i can get a spare and see if i can fix it

, its a wire resistor.

Why was it not compatible with your new mobo? Does it need an ATX2.2 PSU?
