Broken camera. Reluctantly need new phone.

Not sure how it happened. But I left my phone in the car under the seat and some how water has appeared in the camera lens.

And the camera app no longer launches. It opens but errors. Or if it doesn't it's a black screen. Everything else on the phone works.

Is the best bet just to get a used s20fe? I don't want to spend much but Im away in holiday soon and can't be without a camera.

I'm no expert and this is just a suggestion, but could you put it in a container with some silica gel desiccant and see if that clears it?

Yeah I tried that moisture is gone.

But realised I also have no network.

So that's two faults! :/

I'm a tempted by the Fairphone for my next phone. As in the situation you describe, you can replace parts.
You can also replace the battery, when its performance inevitably starts to degrade.
