Hi I bought the 15" version in media world Italy wher I live and then took it on holiday. The first time I hit the left hand cmd key it falls off and the clip at the back is broken. So I come back from holiday and take it to media world where they say you should have brought it back in the first 8 days, but I was on holiday so they just stare and me and say you need to take it to the Apple shop nad have the keyboard replaced. Ok so just back from the apple shop. Keyboard is not covered by warranty. So the options in the shop were new keyboard at a cost of over a € 100 or I wait for a couple of months to see if they get a keyboard replacement in and I can have just the key replaced. I was just wondering if anyone out there had a spare key that they could let me have, I would pay for the P&P.

Thanks

Jeff

Apple should fix this, everything is covered by warranty on a macbook pro, why wouldnt this be?

That's unacceptable especially as it's very new. I don't know how new because you've not said but I'm assuming less than a month.
