the left mouse button on my MX-518 is slightly broken, making it very hard to double-click.
i sent an email to logitech, telling them about the problem.
i've heard much about Logitechs fantastic customer support - whats the chance that they'll send me a new one?

i've had it since release :D
 
speak them on the phone ... if they start asking questions about pid number just say you cant read it .. as they normally ask for receipt ... although if you blag it they will give u a new mouse
 
Logitech have a 3 year warranty on mice. I had to log a warranty request with them last year online via there support pages. I didn't have the paper receipt to hand though I found the details from the online retailer.

Posted that as proof of purchase along with the serial number etc. and they sent out the new mouse within a week.
