Broken? Need an opinion

This is my shuttle SP35P2 and wondered if the dvd drive eject button is suppose to be like this but i have not put a drive in there yet would that make a difference? Its not as prounounced as the other buttons and goes pas the case when you push it in.

Get a picture of the thing.

I presume you are talking about a bezel that goes over your dvd drive once it is in the case?

It's going to go quite far back when you push it, as there is no optical drive button behind it to stop it

i think it pushes the internal button so yes its fine

When you put a drive behind the button, it will push the case button out as it will be resting on it.

So it should be fine.
