After using my NS1000's since Christmas 2009 they now seem to have developed an internal fault. I imagine something has gone wrong with the power supply from the battery compartment, as when I turn on the noise cancelling, and thus up the sound quality, the LED above the switch no longer turns on, and the sound dies to silence completely. Sound comes through as before when running solely on the power coming through the 3.5mm jack without the battery power, but I didn't buy the NS1000's for that sound quality. I have tried using various batteries but none have worked, so it's not a dud battery (Tried Duracell, Energizer etc.).
I haven't used the NS1000's for anything other than general listening, haven't subjected them to any abuse at all, whenever travelling without them on they've always been in the carry case, so I can't think of anything I could have done.
