Right, basically my motherboard fried, so it meant shotting the whole shuttle out.
I got a new motherboard, PSU, heatsink/fan, case.
Fitted it all up,
motherboards an ecs nforce3-a939 , fairly cheap but figured it'd do the job.
PSU is a 450w, sansun something or other, actually pretty good it would seem.
Anyways, the bloody thing wont even boot, monitor is still saying no signal, iv got the 3500 939 newcastle core a64 in it that i had in the shuttle, and the 2x512 geil value 3200s, iv tried pulling them out, using only one and its still doing the same.
Its also got an x800xtpe in it, all plugged in etc, still doing the same.
tried swapping the x800 for a fx5700, still no signal.
Cleared CMOS etc, multiple times, still no luck..
Any ideas anyone? there aint one of those annoying(yes it is annoying, but hell it'd be useful right now if i could find it.) speaker sockets on the motherboard, to plug the case speaker into, so it can make lots of wonderful beeps to tell me what exactly the damn problem is.
ARG. Its got me really wound up because i really need my computer over the next 3 weeks to get work done before xmas, aswell as doing the work i have for over xmas for university too! help meeeee.
im going to thieve some ddr to giv a go, but thats the only option i have left, with no more spares. I tried my old PSU, but still the same also.
jesus its a right task.
