I've managed to break both front and rear connectors for headphones on the pc itself. Both times tripping over the cable
Anyway i thought i could just remap the 'mic in' socket or one of the others to 'headphone' but can't figure out how to do it.
It's realtek HD Audio Manager, i used to get a pop up when i plugged something in, asking me what did you plug in and you could just select as needed. But i think i disabled it or in an update it was gotten rid of...
Anyone know how to get that popup to come up again? Pic of pop up i'm on about below
