Broken Sword 4 Directx error fix?!?

Hi all,

i just got broken sword 4 and found that i kept getting a directx error message. After trawling the internet and using google 'translate' i found this works:

download, install and run '3d analyze' (use GOOGLE )
select the EXE from the game dir
and turn on 'force SW TnL' and 'emulate pixel shader caps'
then click 'RUN'

im running it on my laptop which has a crappy onboard card and it seems ok!

Thanks for the fix. I have herd of a few problems with this game, I think I was lucky that I never had any. I think they did relase a patch shortly after release though so mabey that might help too?

As to the gameplay, its ok. Im a big fan of the series. My favorites are 1+2. I dont think 3+4 come close to be honest - but still OK'ish games.
