Just Playing through 1 again as it was the first game for the pc i ever owned.
What a great game, i love all the little commends George makes like climbing under the umbrella at the start. So far im at the hotel but am a bit stuck at the mo but im shore i will get through it.
All in all its a great fun game

broken sword 1 and 2 remain some of my all time favourite games ever. The graphics, dialogue, music, scripting, etc are all spot on!

That goat at the caste in BS 1 had me stuck for ages lol :P

3 and 4 of the series however are utter crap which was a crying shame :(

I have one of them. Think its got dragon in the title or somthing? didn't like it that much though. Whats so good about them?

The fact they are challenging, funny and just all round good fun. Also very satisfying. I wish more point and click games like this and Monkey Island were released. The newer editions just suck imo.

Looking for my Broken Sword discs now. Can't wait to complete them again! (I love the way I still forget some of the puzzles even after I've played it countless times! [or maybe I'm just retarded]).

The first one was fabulous. Remember I was a little kid, had it on Playstation. Never did get to complete it, got stuck on the Hotel Ubu part. Few months ago, got it on PC and completed it. One of the best story's I've played tbh.

Broken Sword 1 & 2 are great. Was reading up on some easter eggs in 2 that I'd like to revisit.

3&4 aren't as good as 1&2 but they aren't crap either. Just different.

Another good adventure game from the same year would have to be Toonstruck. If you enjoyed Broken Sword and never played Toonstruck then I suggest you get it and fire it up on the latest build of Dosbox. It's quite possibly the greatest unsung hero of adventure games ever.

edit:

I hope everyone who's replaying Broken Sword is doing so using ScummVM.

Fair enough. I'm not not going to try to convince you. I just accept ScummVM as the way to play these games these days.

If you want to read up on the features and benefits then have a look at their website.
