My_spare_is_at_uni_my,other_spare_ie_my_mums_i_spilt_lemonade_on_and_now_works,_sortof_but_she_stole_it_back.

if you're writing a long post you could always use the onscreen keyboard to find and replace all your underscores or full stops or whatever with spaces.

Does your Alt key work? If so, hold it, type the number 32, and let go.

Have a think about it, you've got a problem with not getting spaces when you need them. Alt+32 is the unicode for a space so Weebull has given you another way to do it.

I_didnt_know_alt_32_was_the_unicode,_hence_my_question!_I_had_also_tried_it,_but_it_didnt_do_anything

lol this is brilliant, just go and get a new keyboard! Do you not have any old ones lying about? I have a few VERY old ones from other PCs.
