Hello all,

Recently I've noticed that the video quality on gametrailers.com and some youtube videos with Firefox is extremely blocky. Even when in HD mode they just seem like there very, pixelated.

I tried Chrome and its the same thing, yet Internet Explorer shows the same videos as smooth.

I've gone through three different graphics drivers just to see if thats the cause and there all the same.

Any ideas?

Edit - I spose you could say its like AA is off completely.

If it's flash video you can apply deblocking to it through drivers e.g. CCC > video > apply to internet video. Have a check though the default settings, stuff like dynamic contrast can cause flashing on dark, low res videos however stuff like full dynamic range should be enabled.

While I'm not familiar with Nvidias current control panel I do know they also fail to enable full dynamic range by default which really buggers up gpu accelerated videos. There's not point in enabling gpu acceleration in vlc then disabling YUV>RGB if you fail to change the driver.

/end rant.
