1: lol, a predictable response, lol. No it wasnt

2: ok, you are not a Lian-Li fanboy if it makes you feel better. Nothing wrong with being a fanboy if the product is actually superior

3: you are a fan of Lian-Li, and recommend them practically every time someone asks about a new case. As above, because in most cases they are superior.

4: yes their build quality is good, they look good, they cool good and god damn they are good value for money. Yes, yes they are. I guess one out of four is not too bad:p

Ok then, someone asks for a case, thats around the £60 mark.

What would you recommend?

Someone asks for one around the £100 mark.

Its then the same cases + the Eclipse.

considering it was a sarcastic joke I made about this section in general, ** getting very up tight about it lol - didnt say there was anything wrong with it did I?

Sarcasm does not come across very well in writing. I have tried and fallen on my face on several ocassions.

The vento is amazing :D Buy one! :D

Its only a cases lol

The problem is that unlike a cooler or a processor where you can benchmark it, cases are REALLY subjective. If you like a case you'll make enormous allowances for it's failings. Cases say a huge amount about the people who own them and how they want others to see them - check out the cases gallery thread for proof of this.

You can't help but be a case fanboy - In almost 100% of cases it was bought because you like how it looks. The rationalisation about airflow etc. comes after the visual appraisal and I would defy anyone to say otherwise.

No but ive heard nothing but reviews saying pay the extra and go coolermaster or Lian Li. The build quality is meant to be bad in comparison due to sharp edges etc which makes them a lot more of a pain than cases already are for working in.
Shut your mouth then because you have blatantly no idea you’re just a cm and LL fan boy. Let’s see these reviews?

That post was sarcastic, leave Yewen and gr1mey debate don't out number him :p

That is a very valid point, the v1000+ that I have I probably spent about 20 hours working out the different options I had for cooling, and trying them all out.

Means that I can now get the most out of this case, and can shave 10 degrees of my case temperature compared to a review with the identical system.

The v1000+ I really love, so I put the time in.

Same with ALL the ATCs cases, 80mm but I tried 30/40 brands and ypes of fans to find the right ones to make the cases more useable to me after 4 years.

But aslong as we all agree on the Vento, then I am happy :p

We had several informed debates. As a result I now own a Lian Li V1000B as well as my Eclipse farm.

Yup, and as of that I will be getting a Alu fronted one, a S80 and maybe a v300/v600.

While selling the pile of cases I have at the moment. A Eclipse with a aluminium front will be a super case.
