During games it will freeze and he has to reboot, and he heres buzzing sounds through his headphones and then it stops. Sometimes it happens 3hrs into games other times in 2 minutes. He has checked the temps and graphics drivers but there all ok.
His spec is the one off overclockers the wow hellscream they done last year.

What's the full system specs?

Is it overclocked? Return it back to stock speeds?

Tried updating drivers?

MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
CPU
Intel Core i5 2500K @ 3.30GHz33 °C
Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology
RAM 4.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Z68X-UD4-B3 (Socket 1155
ASUS PG221 (1680x1050@59Hz)
1023MB GeForce GTX 460

His overclock keeps going off anyway back to 3.2 anyway had this problem for about 8 months.

Graphics drivers are up to date, what else drivers should he be updating?

Can't see anything obvious that could be causing the crash, tried doing a mem test yet with each stick done individually?

He has just wrote to me on steam telling me this "Sometimes when I'm looking at the internet the screen will mess up and come up with your display driver has stopped working but it comes back 5 secs later"

Sounds a bit odd.

try underclocking the gpu memory by 150mhz and see if it still does it,what motherboard bios is he running? makesure he updates to the latest version
