Browser running like cold treacle

My browser seems to have slowed down and mostly loads pages very slowly yet the Task manager is showing Idle process at 97% ..... any ideas?

XPpro with SP3
IE7

No virus or spyware etc.

unistall it and use firefox or opera instead?

It might be because of the amount of in browser add ons you have installed flash, quicktime etc. You could try reinstalling. Or go to manage add ons and unistall all of them and see if that helps
