For some reason, and this has nearly always been the case, when downloading anything in an internet browser it is incredible slow and inconsistent.
Steam downloads fine at full speeds, Torrent clients download perfectly fine and quick. But downloading anything through Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox... I get about 20 kb/s the vast majority of the time.
Also, it seems when I start a download for the first couple seconds its at good speed, then just tanks to almost nothing and stays there.
Like I say it only happens in web browsers, nothing else, and happens consistently nearly every time, and on multiple computers.
Any ideas?
