Just wondering when will the i7 laptop you have be available?

Is it the Clevo?

And does anyone know where you can get hold of a battery for an MSI GX600 laptop?

I was going to relegate my current MSI to my everyday lounge system and then buy a web book for long distances. But to be honest I'm completely taken by the absurd idea of an i7 laptop so if I could get a second battery for that I'd use the MSI for traveling and the i7 for my stay at home lounge system. And plus after all the adventures that I've gone on with my GX600 I'd feel kind of sad leaving it at home.

Oh and because the cost of the i7 lappy is more than I originally intended on spending how complicated is it to apply for finance?

Hi & Welcome to the forums.
You seem to be directing your post to the Shop workers, Unfortunately they are at work & the Forum is only populated by Forumites like me. :D
Stick around & ask questions though by all means as there are some knowledgeable chaps here, Like me again. :D + :p

Oh OK, well I might give them a bell or something early next week. Cheers for the welcome and quick response though.

Another question I did have you may be able to answer. Do you know of any decent laptop coolers? I'm not actually looking for anything in terms of miracle cooling, just something that looks half decent and raises the laptop a bit off the desk making it more comfortable to type.

Sorry I don't mate as I've only ever needed a flat board on my lap between me & the lappy, I've found this stops my knees burning & provides the gap underneath for a tad more air flow. I bet out there somewhere though will be a tray that you can retro fit to the bottom of a lappy which includes a fan but I've not seen one yet.

Hi Chris,

I have a Clevo, and a Zalman NC2000 notebook cooler.
It is a great cooler for laptops up to 17", and has helped lower my temps pretty significantly. You might want to look at the NC1000, and the Cryo AX coolers aswell.

Cool cheers guys I'll have a look at those, and thanks again for the swift replies.

Temperatures haven't been too problematic for me with my current laptop but I just like to have it tilted slightly as it makes it more comfortable when typing.
