Anyone else a huge fan? Going to see him this year? Seen him before?

Been a fan since I was small, DotEoT is my fav album. Saw him on the first part of the Magic tour in Mannheim with my Dad this Christmas and it was epic! Got tickets to see him in Manc, London and Cardiff for the second part of the tour. Any other OCUkers going?

Olly.

Saw him at the O2 Arena before Christmas. It was incredible; without a doubt the best live act i've ever seen. Won't get to see him for the rest of his tour, which is annoying, but will get to see Neil Young instead

I didn't like the guy at all but back in 1980 my mate gave me a ticket for The River tour as long as I went with him.
He did a 90 min set
20 min break
90 min set
10 min break
30 min encore

It was one of the best concerts I've ever been to but I'm still not a fan.

Not a big fan of his either, but I saw the Nelson Mandela concert at Wembley and he is pretty damn impressive live, not that I'd probably see him again though.

well im a lucky guy I feel.

I have seen springsteentwice before once at the manchester evening news arena, then again on his last uk tour at Manchester cricket ground. co incedentally i got the tickets of a fine gentlement on these here forums who could not go as the date clashed with in an exam.

but now. I have 4 tickets to see the boss, the legend at Old Trafford This year. and TBH I cannot wait :)

I saw Springsteen at Wembley Stadium in 1984 and Aston Villa in 1988. The Wembley gig is one of my favourite memories.

Bruce was great, and so was the woman I was with. Melody (wherever you are) - if ever you should lift this from Google’s pit - thanks for the memory of that weekend.

Big fan. Saw him at the O2 in December too. Also back in 2003 on the Rising Tour (Crystal Palace), the Royal Albert Hall (2005, Devils and Dust Tour), Belfast Odyssey (2006, Seeger Sessions Tour). Each gig very different, but he's still a brilliant performer.

Got tickets to the Emirates Stadium second night (May 31st). Can't wait.

Dad bought the Seeger Sessions album a couple of weeks ago. I never really cared for Bruce Springsteen until I listened to that.

Damn, now I've got "O Mary Don't You Weep No More" in my head again....

I've seen him 7 times, last time from about the 3rd row at the O2. Totally awesome performer, he gives it everything in every performance. He constantly reinvents himself, from dark acoustic albums to full on rock records like Magic. Check out the Live in Barcelona DVD and you will see how good he is.

The E-Street band are also excellent, if you get a chance grab some of Nils Lofgren's solo material, he is a very under rated guitar player. Havent managed to get tickets for any shows this year yet, would love to goto an Italian or Spanish show, they are supposed to have the best atmosphere.

Streets of Philadelphia is one of my favourite songs, but I'm not really a big fan of his. He's pretty good though.

I went to the second Dublin evening last weekend, it was incredibly good, you'll not be disappointed. Even got a guest showing from Bono which went down predictably well in Dublin.

i saw him the first night in Dublin, 3.5 hours he played and never stopped moving, i don't know how he does it, it was one of the best shows i've seen, only thing that let it down was a) the sound in coke park is ****, lots of reverb
b) when we were walking back to the car there were loads of coke park residents standing in their doors giving us dirty looks like we were some sort of scum, didn't matter that as well as the price of the tickets me and my 3 friend dumped near 500 euro in the local pubs shops and cafes thu the day

Seen him three times in total i think, even though I don't really listen to his music. Remains one of the best live acts I've seen for sure.
