hi, my m8 has this really nice brush alu look on his case but he wants to paint it black, so we was wondering is there anyway keeping that brushed alu look while making it black?

Paint layer would have to be very thin which would be really hard to do with it also covering colour of aluminum.
With anodizing black colour is embedded into oxide layer so that's why you'll still see surface features of brushed aluminum instead of surface of paint.

Get it anodised to any colour you wanted.
