Hi, i have been experiencing lots of small freezes over the last few days, where when playing games, the seems to get 'stuck' for a few seconds then resume normally, it usually happens every ~30s, after the games has been on for about a minute, but just before i started doing that i had a few lock-ups needing a manual restart. BSOD's happen occasionally usually referring to win32k.sys.

I ran a windows memory checker and memtest:

MATS+ and STRIDE6 tests with cache off gave me nearly 1000 errors, all complaining that it received 00000020 instead of the expected 00000000.

is the no cache significant, as the same test are fine with cache enabled?
make me think it might not actually be the ram.

and i checked my voltage rails values in the bios.

Vcore: 1.264
+5V: 5.045
+12V: 12.232
+3.3V: 382

PC Specs:

Core 2 Duo E6550 @ 2.33Ghz
2GB Geil 800Mhz DDR2 ram
Foxconn P35A-s mobo
Geforce 8500GT
XFi extremeGamer
Seagate 500GB SATA
'No Name' PSU 550W
Vista premium x64

i've update all drivers and BIOS?

thanks

download the free memtest ISO and run it. errors highlighted in red will confirm any ram issues. Try testing one stick at a time if need be, and make sure to perform a few cycles (unless u get instant errors).
