BSOD: 0x000000f4 ?

Hi guys, im having an issue with a system i built over a year ago, im getting this bsod during boot up and i cant pin it down at all.

i ran a check disk and it found errors, it fixed these errors, but still i have the same problem.

vista64bit
wd 250gb
amd dual core athlon
4gb ddr2 800mhz
nvidia 8400
500Wpsu

any help/advice is welcome

Download mem test to test the ram, just in case you have a faulty stick.

Is your system overclocked, try lowering if you not done so already.

thanks, yes ill give that a go.

i don't have any overclock on that system.

i have also found a software that helps to easily read blue screen errors from the mini dump so ill be having a look at that too.

Try booting with one stick of RAM, and then the other if the first doesn't work.
