bsod at stock

i've just got my intel i5 2550k and an msi z77 mpower board and it will not boot into windows at stock and it also crashes after about a min or two in the bios. I've tried both sticks of my ram separately and neither made a difference.

Using a gpu or onboard?

What psu have you got?

it doesn't have an onboard gpu because its a 2550k. i've got a corsair cx500m.

msi mpower
gtx670
corsair cx500m
seagate 500gb
samsung 120gb ssd

Have you made sure the voltages are correct to specification? Just one quick thing to check, unlikely to be the cause though.

Is the a new build or just something you've upgraded too?
