I am sure that one of my sticks of ram is bad.

i have 4 X 1GB balistiX DDR2 RAM

i get BSOD randomly and i run memtest86 and with all 4 in i get errors. I ran for 10 minutes and got like over 100 errors but when i test each stick individually i get nothing.

i got latest bios.

im running vista 64 bit.

how can i find out which one of my sticks is bad?

when the BSOD happens i get a 1 second glimpse of somnething about memory but it comes up so fast i cant tell.

any help would be really appreciated.

i would test 2 sticks at a time in different dual channel configurations [1&3,2&4].
then if that shows no errors then i'd test 1 more stick [3of4 slots filled]. then the last stick [3of4 slots filled again]. This might suggest one of the ram slots is defective
maybe a different memory testing program, suggestions anyone?

Okay i will do those tests tomorrow - i usually keep my pc on overnight and find it restarted when i wake up so will see what happens. Changed the modules around a bit. Also is there any way i can see what the bsod is saying?

its just such a quick flash!

anyway - help would be greatly appreciated
