I'm currently running a intel core 2 quad q8200 @2.33ghz with nvidia 9500gt graphics card and other cheap parts.

When booting it will get to the microsoft logo and then restart and ask if I want to launch start up repair and I keep saying no and it will repeatedly blue screen or restart about 2-6 times and then it will eventually turn on and work properly and then it may blue screen once a day whilst being used.

Occasionally when I manage to get onto the desktop the screen resolution is not as it should be as I believe the graphics card does not work/load the drivers and requires a restart to then go back to normal.

Below are all the bluescreen filenames that have had issues:

Contant:

ntfs.sys
ntoskrnl.exe

Occasionally:

ataport.sys
rdyboost.sys
tcpip.sys
CI.dll
partmgr.sys
nvlddmkm.sys
ndis.sys
ndiswan.sys
fltmgr.sys

I had this problem before and reinstalled windows 7 and has the same fault so then removed one ram stick and it worked perfectly for a couple of months. Each ram stick works by itself but not together, these have been working together for about 3-3 and a half years before they started playing up.

Another point to note is that when I connect two devices in the front usb port one may drop out and not be powered anymore and sometimes they'll both be powered. I'm guessing this could be a power fault which is causing all these issues?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

PSU is 400w, I don't know what make I'll check when I get a chance
MOBO is a MSI G31M3-F (MS-7528-010) according to the system model
graphics is nvidia 9500 gt 1gb
Ram is kingston KVR 1.8b 2gb sticks at 800 mhz (currently have one removed)
Standard CPU cooler I believe
Quad core q8200 @2.33 ghz

Have many devices plugged in which take up every usb slot back and front such as camera, speakers, logitech g11 keyboard, logitech g9 mouse, belkin wireless adapter, WD passport 1tb etc.

If it is a generic Psu, there is a good chance it is on it`s way out. Do you have a spare or know someone who could lend you one to test out your system. If the same problems occur with another Psu, then the chances are the problem is else where.
Post back when you have the make and model of your Psu.
