Heyo

So I am having a lot of issues recently with my PC and can't find the answers to the issues. I have at least one BOSD a day at present. Since the 5th January I have had 746 Errors/Warnings/Critical issues flagged in my Event Viewer and the Event Viewer shows countless more but to collect each one and not even be able to save them would take a lot of time.

Main issues seem to be:

Critical
- Kernel-Power
Error
- BugCheck
- Distributed COM
- Service Control Manager
Warning
- Distributed COM
- Ntfs (Ntfs)

With a couple of :

Error - disk
Error - EventLog

If I filter these for Errors, Warnings and Critical for the last 24 hours I get 238 logs which are here:

I was wondering if any of you had any clues on how to fix this as I imagine it will eventually break my computer completely.

Kind regards,
Ammeg

Edit:

OS - Microsoft Windows 10 Home
Processor - Intel Core i5-3570k
Mobo - Gigabyte G1.Sniper M3-CF
GFX - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
RAM - 16GB

I just sussed my bsods....RAM modules were identical Corsair LPX 3600, but two sticks are samsung, two are micron so XMP caused problems. Disabled this in bios... now running 4000mhz at 1.50v, rock solid at last.

What are the driver names in top of stack:
https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
That can give hints about component or buggy driver behind BSODs.

Whocrashed comes with this conclusion:

6 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. A third party driver has been identified to be causing system crashes on your computer. It is strongly suggested that you check for updates for these drivers on their company websites. Click on the links below to search with Google for updates for these drivers:

ntdll.sys

If no updates for these drivers are available, try searching with Google on the names of these drivers in combination with the errors that have been reported for these drivers. Include the brand and model name of your computer as well in the query. This often yields interesting results from discussions on the web by users who have been experiencing similar problems.

Read the topic general suggestions for troubleshooting system crashes for more information.

Note that it's not always possible to state with certainty whether a reported driver is responsible for crashing your system or that the root cause is in another module. Nonetheless it's suggested you look for updates for the products that these drivers belong to and regularly visit Windows update or enable automatic updates for Windows. In case a piece of malfunctioning hardware is causing trouble, a search with Google on the bug check errors together with the model name and brand of your computer may help you investigate this further.

That dll is part of Windows.
You could try system file checker.

Though could be also hardware failing.
Would run drive maker's diagnostic tool or at least check SMART data of the drive.

and then the DISM log is here:

I'm afraid my computer knowledge isn't that great so I have no idea what any of this means.

edit:

After heading to the page it sent me to, it sent me to a few others and then to a "Windows 10 Update Assistant" so going to attempt that one.

Wouldn't be any wonder if Microsoft had force installed some completely broken patch, which didn't want to make way for working file.

I miss the time of Bill Gates when we users were only beta testers insteads of full alpha testers...

True enough, I think my C drive isn't happy regardless, as its slow and stuttering a lot at present. So running HD Tune on it as well to see if any issues pop out as it may be that I need a new hd.

I think your disk needs checking as you've had couple of errors relating to:

The IO operation at logical block address 0x5978bad for Disk 0 (PDO name: \Device\0000002f) failed due to a hardware error.

Which has also led to numerous attempted repairs and corruptions:

A corruption was discovered in the file system structure on volume ??.
The Master File Table (MFT) contains a corrupted file record. The file reference number is 0x18b000000000e7a. The name of the file is "<unable to determine file name>".

I'd start by swapping this out first.

Just received new hdd from OCUK but its not formatting... and PC is seriously having issues, so I am going to attempt to format it in partners pc and then hope I can get windows on it... hah....

Are you formatting the drive as an additional device on your current setup or as a brand new disk with your 'old' disk removed from your system ?

I don't have a cd drive, so I have no idea how else to install it other than setting it up as a normal drive and then installing it onto that drive... which knowing my current luck isn't going to work at all.

Unfortunately this harddrive I received today seems to be broken as it just will not format no matter what I do to it. It just keeps throwing up errors both in disk management and cmd

So I have spent the last .... 10+ hours trying to recover OHs drives and see if I can fix his windows, which I don't think is possible to get stuff back from his c drive where windows is but it went as far as wiping his other drive as well, which is still recovering... Why computers have to be complete twerps I will never know. Windows 10 is just bad I suppose, as it literally told me that it was formatting my new drive, which just refuses to format, instead it formatted OH's drive and then reinstalled windows over the top of his windows, deleting all of his files after telling me it didn't have any files on it.
