Hey,Need assistance!

Didnt really know where to post this one as i dont know exactly whats causing the problem. :/

Basicly ive just replaced the mobo in my system to a Asus p5n32-Sli Premium.

Switched on the system, went into the BIOS and selected CD Rom as first bootable device and my SSD as second,So i can install windows fresh.

All seems to be going well in windows setup until i get to the part where it says...Expanding System Files and around 60% into doing that i get a BSOD.

Stop:0X00000024

Ive not a clue what its telling me :P,sorry for the bad image quality but does anyone know from the BSOD what the problem is?

Hi,

i changed it because i wanted a mobo with 2x pci-e slots so i can run GTX 460 + 8800GT PHYSX.

ive checked the memory settings, its running at 800mhz like it should, ive even adjusted the voltage to 2.2v and still the same :/

right i tested using memtest the ram,it passed no problems, ran HDTune on my SSD which also passed so it has to be the motherboard,Im going to return it.

In the mean time...where can i get a cheap P45 or X48 motherboard with 2 Pci-e slots?

my max budget is £50,i dont care if its used.

Right im somewhat having some luck,What ive done so far is....removed the Q6600,

Put in my old E6300 Core 2 Duo,and instead of Sata DVD-RW + SSD drive ive used an old IDE DVD-RW + Hard Drive.

Windows 7 X64 installed perfect,No problems...No BSOD....im using it right now.

So now i know that there cant be anything wrong with the board,But why is it when i put in my Quad and use Sata based drives it wont install right and i get BSOD?

The Sata drives work fine in my setup in sig...what ya reckon guys?

Right heres what ive tried so far, trying to narrow it down to the problem cause :P

E6300 -2GB Ram -8800GT -IDE Hard Drive + DVD Drive (Boots and works fine)

E6300 -4GB Ram -8800GT -IDE Hard Drive + DVD Drive (Boots and works fine)

E6300 -4GB Ram -GTX 460 -IDE Hard Drive + DVD Drive(Boots and works fine)

Q6600 -4GB Ram -GTX 460 -IDE Hard Drive + DVD Drive(Boots and works fine)

Then i change the IDE Hard drive for my SSD Drive,Try and install windows and it does not move from the screen after you choose your language/location,It just hangs theres.

Q6600 -4GB Ram -GTX 460 -SSD - IDE DVD Drive.

Now im wondering if theres some sort of Sata Issue with the mobo,It must be something Sata related because it works flawless when use IDE Drives.
