BSOD Going From 4.5 to 4.6 on i2500k

Yeah my windows is legit.

I've got a couple of other things to try but I've kinda resigned myself to the 4.5ghz an low temps. It's not the worst result ever.

Now I'm thinking it could just be that my psu is old and struggling a bit. I must have got it 8 years ago and when stressing the cpu the vcore fluctuates a bit too much imo.

On holiday just now so I'll pester you lot with more questions when I get back. :)

At 4.6Ghz, I need 1.290v on mine to be stable but "Internal PLL Overvoltage" is DISABLED.

Here are my settings:
100 x 46
Internal PLL Overvoltage - Disabled
CPU voltage - 1.290
VCCIO - Auto
CPU PLL voltage - 1.725

Load Line Calibration - Extreme
VRM Frequency - Auto
Phase Control - Extreme
Duty Control - Extreme
CPU Current Capability - 100%

to get 4.8Ghz

Settings as above but I change:

Internal PLL Overvoltage - AUTO
CPU voltage - 1.35

That cpu's got plenty more left in it than 4.5 then but no idea why its not playing ball, its deff not vcore related thats for sure.

Mine bails out over 4.4 aswel, unless you up the volts by a stupid amount. Like the volts are quite high anyway, like atm its at 4.3ghz with 1.320v:eek:
