right guy recently i been getting blue screens of death they happen with 2 weeks or so between them. and i dont remember changing anything software drivers etc to cause them.

the BSOD are as follows: -

Invalid_process_attach_attempt
***STOP: 0X00000005

System_Service_Exception
***STOP: 0X0000003B

And Lastly...

***STOP: 0X00000124

they ONLY occur when Windows Vista 64 bit loads up (you know that windows loadup bar after post) and never when im at desktop working gaming etc...

my computer PASSES Intel Burn Test on Maximum at 20 passes..... Prime 95 pass for 12 Hours Blend and Memtest86 at 17 passes and windows memory check also reports no errors with the memory....

Im completely stumped as to what the problem might be because i have ran every stress test successful passes so im thinking it cant be a hardware problem????

please help thanks guys.....

it could be hardware, sometimes you just get bugs like this. my last system would pass every stress test going yet it would bsod when playing video.

The premise will still apply though; do you have a non-onboard NIC? If so try taking it out. Or try re-installing your NIC drivers.

I had a very similar problem recently, albeit different stop codes. Turns out it was the Motherboard, replaced that and everything is now fine. The symptoms you describe were the same as mine

the computer is connected to the net via a wireless usb thing lol then router is downstairs... no network card onboard me thinks...

I had a MSI that liked crashing randomly (K9 NEO AM2) I think it was it was ages ago, it crashed while playing freelancer o.O, it could be a faulty board, in that case it was, a faulty chipset.

I had issues like this with my Gigabyte DS3 board. Turned out to be a RAID driver issue.

BSODs would only happen at boot every now and again.

Latest driver fixed it.

whats the 0x0000009c code mean?

ive managed to to 3.8GHz and now going for 4.2

im trying x21
bclk 200
vcore 1.21875 (1.208 actual)
cpu pll 1.92 qpi/dram 1.35
dram 1.4

ram is at 888824 1603 (1600 rated dominator)

the vcore was lower as i managed to boot into windows and prime for a few mins at 1.192 so i upped the bclk to 200, then it would get to the windows screen and do nothing, so i kept upping it a bit and the cpu pll, and now it starts to load then that bsod.... any idea?

EDIT: given up on higher that 3.8 for now untill someone can suggest what to up (probs just vcore xP) but running intell burn test was fine on standard, no probs, but on maximum ram it cam back as unstable, up the dram slightly? who knows xP helpsss :D
