bsod help

i had a blue screen popup a week ago on my pc and i missed what it said so i set the pc to not restart straight away.well i got the blue screen again just befor and it said this nv4.disp driver was stuck in a loop and has made your computer restart.Also befor the blue screen pops up the mouse pointer freezes and i cannot click anything on the screen then monitor switches off.The monitor then comes back on showing this blue screen.I am not sure what this means so here is specs

3500 64 winchester
asus a8v deluxe
2gb corsair
BFG 6800 ultra oc

Try booting up in Safe Mode, if this works then uninstall the Nvidia drivers, get the latest and install them.
 
Do a Memory Test...

I used to have BSOD caused by the nVidia dll file, it turned out my memory sticks had some errors....

But the BSOD occurred much less frequently as I installed newer and newer drivers...

However I couldn't correlate the BSOD and nv4_ disp.dll with memory errors......give memtest86 a go.... ;)
