hi
for some reason ive been getting BSOD quite a few times now on my new build. ive reinstalled windows again but i still get it.whats the best way to test each component?

Remove each component, one at a time and see if it still happens. Start with RAM because thats normally a good bet, so remove 1 stick at a time.

it boots up to windows most of the time fine but sometimes when im in the middle of something or opening a program it will just blue screen

Still could be faulty RAM tbh. If you have re-installed windows then you really are looking at either a hardware problem, or theres a program you've install causing it.

When i was getting BSOD's in vista i found out it was a driver error, any idea what it says on the BSOD's? it should tell you what is causing the problem if you have time to read it, if not you can use the windows debugger to read through your minidumps

how do i access the dump files??

do you think it will most likely be the sound card as this is the oldest part in my system as everything else is new and is there any way to test it
