Having no joy sorting this out, thinking it's just hardware issues now - system is rather old now.

0x8000000000000002
Is the main BSOD code i'm getting, also had this

0x80000000000000
Have done all the useual stuff, updated drivers, checked it's not over heating and what not. Happens when i'm gaming, could be straight away or after 10 mins.

System is

E6300
DS3
2GB OCZ PC8500
8800GT
OCZ 550w PSU

I'm reading around that it could be to do with USB ports, but i'm unsure - MOBO could well be on its way out. Don't think its RAM problems, as it's only running at 760Mhz and not 1066.

Any ideas?

Have you ran Memtest and perhaps even a diagnostic utility for your HDD from the Manufacturers website?

+1 I'd run memtest first, then hard drive scanning utility (whichever is appropriate for your HD mufacturer).

Also worth maybe running up a linux live CD (i.e. Linux that runs entirely from optical media) If that seems to work fine without any issues ,then it may well just be a massively borked windows install that could be fixed by a hack and slash.

Good luck!

Has always been fine, only started doing this recently.

I'll give Memtest a bash later - most likely the issue.

HDD should be ok, primary drive is a WD Caviar Black, it's not THAT old.
