BSOD in BF2 ~ Hardware issue?

Hi, I would really appreciate some advice on this. I was playing BF2 yesterday and the game suddenly froze for a second with the audio looping and then blue screen error and system reboot. The only wierd thing I noticed before the bluescreen was that the mobile AA cannon sound was missing and some text was missing from the ready screen at the start of the match.

I've never had this happen before and I've been playing several hours today with no problems. Here is the system error in event viewer:

I usually associate bluescreen errors with hardware issues, but I've never had any bluescreens or system restarts with this computer since I built it and it has been rock stable (memtest, other games, 3dmark all work with no issues) and still is as far as I can tell.

Could this be a hardware issue or is it an error with the game?

(btw, this was the first time playing on this paticular server, if that matters.)

The FSB isn't overclocked, everything on my system is at stock. The HTT is at 200mhz, isn't that normal?

Sorry if this is a silly question, but is it possible for an error in the game/online server to cause a bluescreen and rebooot?

Everything on my system is at stock and memtest doesn't reveal any problems. I did have one of these isolated reboots with my old system, where the game froze and the audio looped for a second or so and then the system rebooted, though without any bluescreen.

I've had CTDs a few times which is expected, but BSODs get me very worried as they've always been precursors to dead hardware in the past. :(

So far it seems a software bug, but it still scared the ***p out of me!
