Im using this RAM:
OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 800MHz SLI-Ready Edition Low Latency Dual Channel DDR2
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-097-OC&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=813

and this mobo:

Asus P5N-T Deluxe nForce 780i (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-261-AS&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=1057

I can't seem to boot into Vista Home Premium 64bit with both sticks in as 4GB, can only use 1 stick, tried different slots too, and tried one RAM then the other, so the RAM seems fine. I heard a few others have this problem too, basicaly i get a BSOD on boot, (i think its the IRQ less or not equal to error). Any ideas on things i could try? What would be the correct voltage settings etc to use for this RAM?

Thanks,

The OcUK link clearly says 2.1V, 2.2V maximum with the Extended Performance Profile. It's quite possible the RAM is duff though. Run Memtest and if it fails at all with the correct voltage on then RMA it with a screenshot/photo of the memtest failure screen.

Not sure if this will help you as I could not install vista and get it to boot up one the install completed.

I had to remove 2GBs of RAM - install vista - then apply the kb929777 patch from Microsoft. (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929777)

Then restarted PC and let it boot up again.
Shutdown again and put back all my RAM and then it worked fine with 4GBS.

I have had to do this everytime I install Vista 64!
