Hi,
i was just using my pc normaly
went to open a file
and i got a bsod
saying about Memory Management
then the system restarted
Anyone know what can cause this?
running windows 7 64bit

Could be all sorts of reasons.

Faulty memory.
Bad Bios settings for memory.
Insufficient power.
Software issues with Win7.

Post your system spec and bios settings, alternatively you could post your BSoD dump report here for a more specific answer.

Well this pc has been running 24/7 for about 2 months now
its a new build (2month)
so i think its point towards a software issue

where would my dump report be?

I posted in your link regarding your system.

Also, you can locate any dumps by doing a search for *.dmp.

They are in the system root folder, i'm no expert but if it points to something i understand i might be able to help you a bit.

Good luck.

It should have a signature something like this...

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 3081

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 1a
BCP1: 0000000000008884
BCP2: FFFFFA80028F9DA0
BCP3: FFFFFA80028FCDD0
BCP4: 0000000000000405
OS Version: 6_1_7600
Service Pack: 0_0

No need to upload the whole thing, i just need to see the error signature.

Goto Start, search for windows memory test, run that application.

It appears to be a hardware issue with memory.

If the windows memory test confirms a hardware issue download memtestx86, it will give you a more specific diagnostic.
