Could someone explain what the following message means. I sometimes get this when ocing.

"A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval."

Thanks

101 means you need more Vcore to stabalise the overclock for the given task your trying to get the CPU to do.

I saw some large numbers on the screen I did not realise the code was part of it. I will look closer next time it happens.

It only happens when I run at 5.0ghz on cpu and when doing the physics tests on 3dmark11. Sometimes it runs the tests sometimes it crashes.

If the answer is more vcore is there anything else I can do instead. At 5.0ghz I am using 1.55 vcore and I don't like having it that high for too long.

Thanks for answering so quick.

What are your other settings??? have you tried the 125 strap to get your 5.0ghz often CPU needs less Vcore on this strap. You could also try slowing memory speeds down again that leads to a reduction on Vcore.

I would go 39 x 128 if I was you and see if this helps Vcore and stability.

I will give 39 x 128 a go.

Is there anything else I should be looking at like LLC.

I only oc to run benchmarks for normal use I use the settings in my signature. What I am trying to do at the moment is find a way to add about 300 or 400 points to my 3dmark11 pscore.

I have just tried the above settings I got the BSOD on the last of the graphics tests in 3dmark11 which is a bit earlier than it normally happens. I have noticed before my setup is not quite as good running at 40 x 125 compared to 50 x 100.

The BSOD error code I received was

Stop : 0x00000101 (0x0000000000000011, 0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFF880009F0180, 0x0000000000000008)
