ok so i got a cheap new gfx card as my last one died and need a quick fix (new one is msi geforce nx6200) ever since ive been gettin bsod roughly every 15mins, but sometimes wont be for hours. the tech info is: ***STOP: 0x00000019 (0x00000020, 0x84383208, 0x843832a8, 0x0a140004)

the gfx card seems to be workin fine and within temp limits. the newer drivers i find and download all seem to be currupt for some reason!

The stop code is related to an invalid pool header, typically a driver problem. Where did you get the drivers for it?

I'd recommend DL'ing the latest drivers (http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp), go to your device manager and remove any video adapters listed, reboot, let it detect, and point it to the right driver.

If that still doesn't work you have a defective card and should return it for a better model.

Uninstalled & cleaned (Driver Cleaner Pro) old drivers before installing the ones for the new card I hope?

Also, by cheap do you mean second-hand?

Try download drivers from here. If also corrupt, then could indicate some other problem not necessarily GFX :(

no its brand new card. i did remove all the previous drivers (which were ati come to think of it, so theres a possible problem) gettin them drivers now.

ok so removed the old drivers, rebooted and tried to install the new drivers i just downloaded, half way through i get this error (which is similar to what i had before when downloading drivers)

'The contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted. Please obtain another copy of the file, verify its integrity, and try again.'

well i downloaded the same drivers from my room mates computer and they installed just fine. will give it some time and see if i get rid of the bsod. there must be summit wrong with my pc tho if it wouldnt let me download the drivers at all from anywhere!

ive tried 2 new nvidia drivers now and i still get the bsod, im gona do a windows re-install after dinner and hope for the best. thanks for the help.
